We are currently recruiting a Data Coordinator to join ourteam of dedicated health professionals striving to provide the best qualitycare to consumers and their families / whanau.

About the Role

As our Data Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in boththe consumer experience and the data integrity of the Anxiety DisordersService. You’ll be the first point of contact for consumers and their whānau,ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and informed throughout theirassessment journey. The dataco-ordination role is primarily tasked with providing evidence about theeffectiveness of our programmes and for research purposes.

You’ll also be responsible for managing service data —maintaining accurate records, producing reports and audits, and contributing tothe team’s continuous improvement efforts.

As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claimsettlement this role has beenmapped to National Band 1 / Profile 1A

• Welcomeconsumers and their whānau, helping reduce anxiety and build engagement inthe assessment process.
• Provideorientation to the building and explain forms and processes clearly.
• Supportcompletion and scoring of psychometric assessments, highlighting anyconcerns to clinicians.
• Promotepartnership and understanding throughout the assessment journey.

Data Management & Reporting

• Enter,maintain and audit data in Access, Excel, and SAP databases forassessments, treatments, and discharges.
• Followup missing or inconsistent information with clinical staff.
• Producemonthly and annual reports on referrals, assessments, treatments, anddischarges.
• Contributeto service projects, data analysis, and presentations for team planning.
• Ensureaccurate, timely, and compliant documentation in all systems.

About the Team / Service / Location

The AnxietyDisorders Service, a Specialty Mental Health Service of Health NZ | TeWhatu Ora Waitaha, provides specialistassessment and treatment to people whose everyday lives are significantlyaffected by an anxiety disorder.

The AnxietyDisorders Service is a multi-disciplinary team comprised of a ConsultantPsychiatrist, Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Nurse Therapists, OccupationalTherapist, Social Worker, Registrar, Physiotherapist, Dietician, DataCoordinator and other administration staff.

About You

Essential skills and experience :

• Provenexperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, Word).
• Experienceworking with databases, data analysis, auditing, and report writing.
• Excellentcustomer service, communication, and documentation skills.
• Abilityto build rapport and work effectively with consumers, whānau, and healthprofessionals.
• Experienceworking collaboratively in a team environment.
• Backgroundin health, community services, or related administrative settings.
