OverviewWe're in the middle of an exciting business transformation journey at MAS so we can work smarter and deliver better results to our Members.As the Integration Test Analyst, you will support the streamlined delivery of Technology Change for MAS by helping to ensure the quality, reliability and scalability of our integration layer to enable a fast-paced delivery cadence across the Elevate Programme.If you have solid experience working with integration or automation testing as well as an understanding of how the integrations support the end user business processes, we would love to hear from you.This is a 12-month fixed term position.ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain test frameworks, test suites and test tools used to validate software functionality and performanceCollaborate within a cross functional Integration delivery squad (BA, Developers, Test Analysts)Produce test documentation that is clear, concise and appropriate for the change at hand and for the intended audienceDefect and issue identification and management, particularly around cross workstream interactionsLiaise with Test Analysts on other Programme workstreams to agree priorities and to look for efficiencies across test activitiesEmploy a context-driven and risk-based approach to Test activitiesContribute to the Continuous Improvement of the Test Practice and to I&D Delivery practicesQualificationsExperience in the testing of integration components essential (APIs, Middleware and data flows and mapping)Experience of various Delivery methodologies preferred (A gile, Waterfall, Hybrid.)Test case design experience based on interface specifications, and the ability to prioritise the execution order and sequencingExperience with the principles and practical application of risk-based, scenario-based and behaviour-driven testing across complex business and technical environments requiredAt least 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar Test Analyst roleStrong capability in the following required : API, Microservices, SQL / Database interrogationPostman experience to support API testingTest Automation framework experience (ie Playwright, Selenium or equivalents)Familiarity with SDLC support tools - ie AzureDevOps, GitHub, Jira, ConfluenceAbout usWe're a New Zealand-owned insurance and investment company with a difference.
