Join the team at the Bathhouse, Queenstown's iconic lakeside restaurant and bar as a Chef de Partie . We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team. As Chef de Partie , you'll be at the heart of creating an exceptional experience for our guests. You will work alongside our Head Chef, curating and perfecting seasonal & delicious dishes.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef (minimum 3 years experience).
Passion for excellence & the ability to create delicious dishes.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a diverse and tasty menu.
- Oversee kitchen operations.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met.
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Rotating food stock and ordering.
- Planning and executing dishes based on appropriate food and labour costs.
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.
- Selective staff training when required.
- Full time role with a minimum of 30 hours for the right candidate.
- Competitive hourly rate or salary.
- No late nights. Heavy focus on brunch. Opening hours from 8am-9pm.
