About the role
We are looking for 2 × Pou Haapai Kounga (Quality Assurance Support) kaimahi to work in our Quality Assurance team.
Quality Assurance is a vital part of our organisation to ensure that the quality of care is carried out through our enablement team so our frontline kaimahi can focus on what matters most : caring for our whanau!
As a Pou Haapai Kounga (Quality Assurance Support) you will assist in both Operations Support and Quality Assurance spaces with administrative tasks and physical outputs, and may also support other units or senior leadership from time to time.
This entry-level position involves process and policy checks, audits, health and safety (accident and incident management) and general auditing work.
Business-as-usual tasks include ordering and procurement, vehicle fleet management and low-level auditing.
Flexibility is essential as you may be required to travel between Taumarunui and Waikato when needed.
This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Develop and implement an annual quality management programme in collaboration with the Operations Manager
Support business units in defining, implementing and tracking quality indicators aligned with operational needs
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance frameworks
Identify gaps in processes and undertake effective corrective / preventive actions
Support all business units with the creation, documentation and maintenance of effective processes and procedures
Coordinate internal procedure reviews and ensure they are approved, communicated and stored appropriately
Coordinate with HR to facilitate Health & Safety and Quality Committee meetings and maintain accurate meeting records
Support new business units in developing effective and efficient foundational infrastructure, processes and procedures, including the establishment of effective quality risk metrics and documentation standards that meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
Create, update and manage procedural documentation in collaboration with relevant business unit stakeholders
Ensure all documentation is consistently maintained in Monday.com and The Policy Place (our current software)
To be considered for this role ideally you will need to have :
Tertiary qualification in Quality Management, Health Services Management, Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
Experience in healthcare or community service settings
Experience in Relationship Management, Change Management, Customer Service and Data Entry
Familiarity with systems like Monday.com and Policy Place would be an advantage
