Responsibilities

Just some of the things you’re responsible for :

• Lead the development and execution of MTF’s quality strategy, including tooling, processes, and team practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads to shape features and define quality criteria early in the development process.
• Own the quality of software releases, including test planning, execution, and release readiness.
• Define, track, and report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect leakage, test coverage, automation rate, release confidence) to drive accountability and transparency.
• Continuously improve test and release processes, including documentation and tooling.
• Partner with engineers to diagnose issues and implement preventative measures.
• Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
• Introduce and experiment with innovative testing approaches, tools, and frameworks.
• Advocate for modern quality practices.
• Contribute as a senior member of the team and help develop junior engineers in quality practices to ensure cross collaboration and upskilling within the team, as required.
