Job Summary
Quality Assurance Coordinator is a key role working within the Quality Team, focusing on Food Safety and Quality objectives.
We are currently seeking to appoint a QA Coordinator at our Taura site in Mount Maunganui.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role involves maintaining, coordinating, and monitoring the site's Quality Management System, conducting internal & external audits, and supporting our commitment to delivering quality products that meet our customer's expectations.

Key responsibilities will include :
Supporting the Quality and Compliance Team to enhance raw material approval processes
Ensuring ongoing assurance through food safety documentation, traceability, and staff training
Managing documentation approval, raw material verification, and stock management
Performing GMP inspections, internal audits, validation, and verification activities both within and outside the factory environment
Developing and improving business systems to support continuous improvement
Enhancing and maintaining the site Food Safety Program
To be successful in this role :
Experience in a similar role within the food industry, including quality control
Proficiency in Excel
Experience in Essential Oils, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical, Health & Personal Care, or Food & Beverage industries is highly desirable
Understanding of GMP and HACCP principles
A strong commitment to food safety principles and the drive to uphold them
Attention to detail with clear and accurate documentation skills
Disciplined and proactive with respect to timelines and procedural compliance
Excellent team player with a positive attitude, eager to contribute and make a difference
