What we’re looking for

An enthusiastic, outgoing team player to join our awesome Grounds team who provide professional grounds maintenance services to our New Zealand Defence force customer.

Ideally, you will have experience, however, we are keen to hear from you if you have the relevant skills and knowledge and a great attitude to be successful in this role.

Work hours are Monday to Friday 7. am - 4. pm.

The role -  Each day you will undertake a variety of tasks ranging from

• Weed spraying incorporating native areas, sports fields, creeks and public areas.
• Planting, tree work, and maintaining large areas of native bush lands.
• Care and maintenance of grounds plant and machinery.
• Assist with annual maintenance plans and monthly grounds schedules.
• Monitor grounds maintenance activities to ensure they comply with the maintenance plan.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment health check (including drug and alcohol screening), and obtain and maintain security clearance due to working on a Defence Site.

You must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
