Job description
You will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and executing a diverse range of University-level events that engage our NUS alumni community. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of alumni events and activities, including forums, golf tournaments, Homecoming, and reunions.
- Collaborate and work cross-functionally with key NUS departments to ensure that events align with broader University goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources.
- Source, negotiate with and manage vendors for event-related services and oversee all logistical aspects of assigned events.
- Evaluate events through feedback and data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management, offering insights and recommendations for further improvement.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in event planning and management.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.Strong project management and vendor management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet moving deadlines.Proactive, has high levels of resilience and drive, and is adaptable to changes.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and can analyze and synthesize information.Collaborative team player who can work independently while also contributing to a broader team mission.Willingness to work evenings, weekends or travel internationally as required.More Information
