We’re on the lookout for a Community Cricket Coordinator – Tournaments & Events to join our passionate Community Cricket team at New Zealand Cricket. Based at our Lincoln office, this permanent full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to help shape the future of cricket in Aotearoa.

You’ll lead the planning and delivery of key community tournaments and events, providing positive playing experiences for aspiring young cricketers and helping pave the way for future BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS. This is a hands-on role where your organisational skills, love of sport, and collaborative spirit will make a real impact.

The role also works alongside the Cricket Operations team to deliver high performance matches and tournaments at NZC’s grounds at Lincoln University.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the delivery of national youth tournaments including the Boys and Girls First XI Cups, Māori Tane & Wahine tournaments, Rangatahi Festivals and coordinating logistics for other community tournaments.
• Leading the planning and delivery of national age-group tournaments as well as supporting other cricket activities at NZC’s Lincoln grounds, including international warm-up matches and development matches.
• Supporting youth cricket development initiatives to boost participation across New Zealand.
• Planning and delivering key community events including the Community Network Hui, Community Awards, and Community Team Hui.
• Providing general administrative support to the Community Cricket team.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the cricket community.
