One team that wants to innovate with a purpose.What your role and typical day might look likeIn this role you play an active role in planning and executing media campaigns end to end.
This includes supporting and mentoring a team of juniors, taking ownership of the administrative needs of the team, overseeing the execution with suppliers and monitoring media campaigns.
In addition, you also play a lead role with day-to-day communication with the client teams (e.g. Marketing Managers) to align briefs and report back on progress.While this role leans toward traditional / offline media, your digital expertise will help shape integrated, future-ready campaigns.
You'll be deeply connected to every part of the strategy, collaborating across teams and managing stakeholders with confidence.This might includeStay ahead of media trends, technologies, and innovations across the industries in your client portfolioLead day-to-day client communications and oversee end-to-end campaign executionManage WIPs, timelines, and agency partner relationshipsEnsure delivery of performance metrics and campaign reportingContribute to media planning and strategy with client insightsSupport award submissions and new business pitchesMentor and manage junior team membersSupport efforts across recruitment, training, and performance reviewsCollaborate closely with media execution teams to manage client expectations and ensure timely, high-quality deliveryPartner with Business Directors and Client Partners to identify and capture award-worthy workA bit about youAt least 3 years' experience working within a Media Agency or similar environmentUnderstanding of media planning, buying and strategy, ideally within New ZealandExperience with media platforms such as Pegasus, TVMap, Roy Morgan and NielsenStrong communication and stakeholder relationship management skills with the ability to present ideas and solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.Effective organisation skills and time managementAbility to manage a small team of people and work collaborativelyExcellent negotiation and client service skillsA proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentBe a champion of meaningful progressAt dentsu Aotearoa, our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so.
