Trade Sales Assistant (Full Time - Glenfield)NZ Safety Blackwoods is looking for a Trade Sales Assistant to join our Trade Centre in Glenfield.

This is a Full Time role working 40 hours per week.This isn't your standard sales role.

It's varied and involves storeman work, computer work and some manual handling.

ResponsibilitiesBe the first point of call for customers walking through the doorInteract with customers, identify their needs and present solutions across our wide range of products and servicesProvide customer service that grows sales and loyaltyDeliver world-class customer service with the customer as the number one priorityUpsell at every opportunityLiaise with support teams including suppliers by phone and email to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and on timeAssist, maintain and improve store presentation and visual merchandising standardsMaintain stock levels on shelves and ensure appropriate stock rotationHandle, pack and dispatch inbound and outbound goodsAssist with maintaining accurate inventory within the store

QualificationsProven experience in a similar role within retail, sales and / or trade sectorSales driven with a desire to exceed targetsFriendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and a team player attitudeAbility to quickly build long-lasting relationshipsProblem solver who can turn challenging situations into a win / winPassion for customer service with a 'can do' attitudePhysically able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentComputer skills to process point-of-sale counter sales and email use
