About the role

You will develop & implement local brand & category strategies with an emphasis on executing global marketing / trade marketing strategies with adaptations to suit the New Zealand consumer and trade dynamics.

This will focus on increasing Reckitt's instore presence across all categories, strengthening Reckitt brands with consumers, optimizing product assortment and promotional strategy and will achieve excellence through instore (4p) execution cross key customers / key accounts via local success models.Play a pivotal role in our company's future, and watch your career soar to new heights alongside the brands you elevate.

Your responsibilities

Be responsible for the achievement of financial and market share targets for our Dettol & Harpic brands

Develop and execute the brand & trade strategy plan for your products in NS by working with global and local cross functional teams.

Develop & execute the channel and 4P strategy for your product / portfolio.

Lead the S&OP forecasting process for your portfolio, with particular focus on customer / channel inputs, including tracking of 4Ps by store format & retailer, outlook for next 12 months and gap filing initiatives.

Work directly with the ANZ supply team to ensure a strong service level for the supply of your brands in the NZ market.

Work with global & ANZ brand and category teams to develop and executive trade strategy plans for the portfolio.

Conduction detailed financial modelling and ROI analysis to support 4P strategy & implementation.

Work with category strategy team to identify key shopper insights and leverage them to dive the portfolio's brand & trade strategy plan.

Monitor market performance and ensure the successful implementation of plans.

Execute agreed product launches and deliver local BDI's.

Support the sales team in creating customer presentations and meeting customer review requirements.

Work with ANZ & global marketing teams to source & adapt global and regional creative and copy, such as voice overs for the NZ business and audience.

The experience we're looking for

Experience in a a blue-chip FMCG company with a proven track record of success with local retailers

Experience influencing and engaging key stakeholders in customer organisations

Functional experience in a mix of marketing, trade marketing, brand marketing & category roles

Results oriented - Tenacious and resilient, driven to acheive even when faced with obstacles

Strong communication, both written and verbal - Fluent in English

Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues

Strong financial acumen, comfortable and skilled in data analytics

Can develop forecasts, identify trends, monitor performance against KPI's & track spend budget.

Strong analytical skill with the ability to develop strategies, tactics & measureable implementation
