Sales Engineer - Hydraulic Solutions - Motion Fluid Power - Auckland

• Selling Industrial power units custom-made by to meet customer requirements, utilising a range of motor, pump, tank, manifold & valve options.
• Being the key support mechanism for sales both directly with customers and through others by providing quick response times and quality service delivery in your areas of product knowledge and expertise.
• Professional technical representation of Motion NZ products and services.
• Collaboration and cross-divisional technical sales support to Motion NZ, including the completion joint calls with Strategic Account Managers (SAM), Customer Account Managers (CAM) and Sales Engineers.
• Support sealing training through the Motion branch network.
• Maintain up to date technical and sales knowledge of products and services.
• Support sales team with direct client contact or visits.
• Update and distribute technical and application data to sales teams as it comes to hand or as requested
• Any other duties as reasonably required to support the Sealing line of business and deliver outcomes for your product group.
• Ideal skills & experience :
• Experience in hydraulic componentry including pump, tank, manifold & valve options.
• Ability to apply technical skills in supporting the business requirements.
• Ability to use knowledge of the industry to understand the customer needs and expectations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently and to a deadline.
• Other - strong collaborative skills, ability to develop and drive business plans, high level of customer focus.
