About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic people leader to join our Development and Regulatory Group as the Manager – Environmental Protection . This is a leadership role that oversees a diverse range of services that impact the daily lives and wellbeing of our residents - including Environmental Health, Bylaws, Animal Management, Social Housing, Parking Services, and Alcohol Licensing.

You will shape the direction and performance of a team of approximately 30, ensuring our regulatory services are delivered professionally, efficiently, and in accordance with legislation, Council strategy, and community expectations.

Reporting to the General Manager – Development and Regulatory, you will set the strategic and operational direction for your division, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of service excellence, responsiveness, and accountability.

This is a full‑time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
