About the role | Mo tenei turanga mahi
This is a full-time role based in Hamilton.
You will be working Monday – Friday, 8 : 30am – 5pm with hybrid and flexible working supported.
The Software Developer will be a full-stack developer and be just as comfortable with maintaining existing code as writing new features.
It is expected that you will enjoy learning new things and be always looking for ways to improve both processes and techniques.
Being part of a cross-functional team, the Software Developer will not just write code.
To succeed, you will be comfortable designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to address complex business needs.
You will be part of processes that emphasise breaking down traditional silos between development, product, and operations teams, encouraging shared responsibility for the entire software lifecycle.
Skills & Experience | Ngapukenga me nga wheako
Our preferred candidates will have :
A relevant tertiary degree or equivalent industry experience.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a software development role.
Technical skills across a mix of full-stack development including C#, TypeScript, ASP.NET, MVC, and Svelte, or another component-based reactive web framework (React, Vue, Solid, etc).
SQL and Relational Database skills.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Effective people interaction and listening skills.
Experience in an agile development team.
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
