We are currently seeking a Sterilisation Assistant to join our fast-paced clinic — someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and brings strong organisational and communication skills to the role.

Job Description
As our Sterilisation Assistant, you'll be a critical part of our team!
You\'ll support our experienced clinicians with various dental procedures during patient appointments, and take ownership of instrument sterilisation, infection control, and stock management.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
Accurately monitoring and recording sterilisation processes
Assisting with infection control procedures across the clinic
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Assisting with stock management
Supporting clinical staff with room setups and patient turnaround
Assisting chairside with procedures (training provided)
Providing occasional support at reception (training provided)
Qualifications
These are not entry-level roles.
We\'re looking for candidates who can hit the ground running and have prior experience in a dental or medical setting.
You\'ll need to be calm under pressure, quick to adapt, and confident communicating with a wide range of people.
To be successful, you will have :
You must currently reside in New Zealand and have work rights
At least 1 year of experience in a dental assistant role (essential)
Strong English communication skills – both spoken and written
Proficiency with dental / medical software (EXACT experience is a plus)
Excellent multitasking and time management skills
A positive, proactive attitude and a strong commitment to patient care
The ability to stay composed and organised in a fast-moving environment
Comfort handling used medical equipment — not for the faint of heart!
