Job Description
How You'll Make an Impact
Lumino Remuera Dental Centre is currently seeking a
Dental Assistant
to join our passionate and professional team!
In this role, you'll work alongside our experienced clinicians to provide excellent support during procedures and ensure each patient enjoys a smooth, comfortable experience.
From sterilisation and infection control to preparing treatment rooms and supporting patient care, you'll be at the heart of our clinical operations.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced position where your ability to stay organised, calm under pressure, and committed to high standards will shine.
Your hours will be : Monday :
7 : 30 am – 5 : 15 pm
Tuesday :
7 : 30 am – 1 : 15 pm
Wednesday :
7 : 30 am – 5 : 15 pm
Thursday :
7 : 30 am – 3 : 15 pm (until 5 : 15 pm during school holidays)
Responsibilities
Assist clinicians during dental procedures and ensure patients feel comfortable and cared for
Maintain sterilisation and infection control protocols to the highest standard
Prepare treatment rooms and materials before each appointment
Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and provide general patient support
Ensure daily operations run smoothly through strong teamwork and communication
Qualifications
Your Experience and Approach
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is essential
Knowledge of dental procedures and best practice infection control
A warm, patient-first approach with excellent communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficiency in computer software and practice management systems is a plus
