MEGA Kapiti Garden / Garden Care Team Member role at Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited is a full-time opportunity at the Mitre 10 MEGA Kapiti garden centre on the Kapiti Coast.

Kiwis love to garden, and we love to assist them with their gardening needs.

This role offers the chance to guide customers with their "green space" requirements.

Responsibilities

Guide customers with their gardening requirements and advise on appropriate products.

Contribute to a friendly, professional garden centre environment and support daily operations.

Part of a full-time schedule that includes weekend days and consists of 80 hours over 10 days per fortnight.

Qualifications

Be customer driven.

Practical knowledge of plants and associated gardening products.

Horticultural background preferable but not essential.

Energetic and physically capable of undertaking heavy lifting.

Demonstrate positive and professional behaviour at all times.

Full driver's licence.

Forklift licence would be an advantage.

Available to work weekend days.

NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit to apply.
