General Salary Range D : $100,934 to $135,076 (midpoint $118,005) depending on skills and experience

About the Role - Korero mo te Turanga

With the aquaculture sector's plans for growth, now is an exciting time to join Fisheries New Zealand's Aquaculture Settlement Team.

Our team helps to realise iwi aspirations and grow aquaculture by supporting the delivery of the Maori aquaculture settlement.

The successful candidate will join us in working across MPI, and with iwi, Te Ohu Kaimoana Settlement Trustee and with other government agencies to deliver the aquaculture settlement and support aquaculture growth across Aotearoa.

Our work focuses on :

• connecting with iwi to understand their aspirations and deliver settlement obligations
• providing advice to Ministers to support delivery of the settlement
• helping iwi to connect with the industry and other government agencies to further their aspirations

We're looking for someone who is passionate about aquaculture and delivering the Crown's settlement obligations.
