OverviewSenior Equity Analyst - Australian Equities.
This Wellington-based position is within ACC's Investments Group, which actively manages a $50+ billion multi-asset class investment portfolio designed to offset future accident costs.
The role involves providing recommendations to Portfolio Managers on the attractiveness of stocks, with the goal of helping the portfolio outperform its benchmark on a risk-adjusted basis after costs.
The Senior Equity Analyst - Australian Equities will work closely with the Australian Equities team, sharing perspectives on value at both stock and sector levels.ACC is New Zealand's accident insurance scheme, committed to the equitable treatment of customers and to providing opportunities for a diverse workforce.ResponsibilitiesProvide recommendations to Portfolio Managers on the attractiveness of stocks to support outperformance of the benchmark on a risk-adjusted basis after costs.Collaborate with other members of the Australian Equities team, sharing perspectives on value at both stock and sector levels.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Equities Analyst.Demonstrated track record of adding value through in-depth analysis and assessment of a company's prospects and whether this is fairly reflected in the share price.Advanced understanding of the trade-off between risk and return.Proven ability to work collaboratively with a wider investment team, adding value through constructive discussion of views.Advanced understanding of financial theory and market behaviour, including the role behavioural bias plays in investment decision making.About ACCACC is New Zealand's accident insurance scheme, which helps prevent injuries and supports New Zealanders after accidents.
