About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People & Capability Partner to support our operations across the Northern region, based out of our Whangarei depot.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering the Northpower People Plan within our Energy Services division, partnering with leaders to ensure our people processes, programs, and systems are aligned with our business goals.

This role is perfect for an HR professional looking to take the next step in their career. With a semi–sole-charge focus, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the full HR spectrum from recruitment and employee relations to learning and development and HR systems while being supported to develop and grow.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the delivery of P&C continuous improvement initiatives
• Strengthen P&C’s contribution and presence across the wider business
• Support managers and the P&C Delivery team in resolving employee relations matters
• Partner with our Recruitment team to manage end-to-end recruitment processes
• Coordinate and produce HR reports and metrics to support business decisions
• Assist in delivering clear and engaging communications to the Network, Fibre, Digital, Energy Services and Corporate teams and the wider organisation
