Fundraiser for Men's Shed

Support the Men's Shed with your financial skills and ensure that we can continue helping Whangarei!

We are looking for an experienced, mature fund raiser for the Men's Shed, ideally, a retired treasurer, accountant or someone with a similar skillset. Your main responsibility is securing funding for maintenance projects on our building, the old Whangārei Railway Station. You will be working with our treasurer to ensure the effective delivery of these projects.

This role, in collaboration with the treasurer, includes :

• Funding, fundraising and sales
• Feeding into the financial planning, budgeting and reporting

About the Men's Shed : The Whangārei Men's Shed consists of 125 members, and we are open Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am - 3pm. The Whangarei Men’s Shed has a reputation for ‘thinking outside the square’ and purchased the old Whangarei Railway Station in 2013. Not only is the Station a multiple workshop area for the pursuit of an array of pastimes and projects, but it also forms a “Work in Progress” challenge in its own right.
