Part Time - 32 Hours per week

$23.50 - $29.10 per hour

About The Role

This opportunity involves working in a warm, supportive home with four young adult women who live with challenging behaviours. They love swimming, going for walks, and time on the swings—so if you enjoy being active and outdoors, you\'ll fit right in!

You\'ll be part of a rotating roster, providing consistent, calming support that helps these women feel safe, empowered, and understood. Every day brings new moments of connection, growth, and joy.

  • Ideal Candidate

  • Are interested in gaining a Level 3 (or higher) Community Support Worker qualification — we can support you to achieve this while you work
  • Have experience (or a strong interest) in supporting people with disabilities, mental health needs, or challenging behaviours — especially nonverbal individuals
  • Are reliable, committed, and passionate about helping others
  • Hold a full New Zealand driver\'s licence
  • Can pass a NZ police check
  • The ability to use a computer effectively, including programs such as Microsoft Suite (Word, Email etc.), and Intranet
  • Excellent, clear, understandable verbal and written English is a pre-requisite to be considered for this role
  • Requirements

    If you are a non-resident applying for this role you must meet the following INZ Level 3 skill requirements to be considered :

  • at least 3 years of relevant work experience, or
  • a relevant qualification on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF) — this must be at least a level 4 qualification for a role at skill level 3, or a diploma for a role at skill level 2.
