About the Role
As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide support to our residents in daily living and social activities.
You will encourage residents to maintain independence and make decisions for themselves.
We Have Two Roles Available
Night shifts permanent 48 hours per fortnight
Morning shifts permanent 52 hours per fortnight
Your Key Responsibilities
Deliver the highest standard of personalised care to every Resident
Support and encourage residents to maintain their independence and decision-making
Assist with activities of daily living in line with Eden principles and the Domains of Wellbeing
Take instruction and tasks from the Registered Nurse
Ensure residents' needs are attended to effectively and in a timely manner
We work with a fixed roster to help you plan ahead, with some flexibility to pick up additional shifts to provide cover in the home.
About You / Skills
As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic, patient, and well organized with strong interpersonal skills.
You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect.
You will have :
Minimum of Careerforce Level 2 Health and Wellbeing Certificate or above
Previous experience in aged care or related healthcare assistant / support worker role
Ability to be an active member of a team
Good verbal communication and documentation skills
Basic computer skills
