OverviewHarbour Cancer & Wellness is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clinical Trials Laboratory Technician to support our growing clinical trials portfolio.
This is a part-time role (0.6 FTE) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.About the RoleAs a key member of our research unit, you will be responsible for the accurate collection, processing, tracking, and shipment of biological samples in accordance with sponsor protocols and ICH-GCP standards.
You'll collaborate closely with investigators, coordinators, and clinical staff to ensure seamless study execution and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and Quality Check study kits and sample tubesMaintain laboratory documentation and trackersMonitor inventory and manage shipmentsLiaise with internal teams and external partners (Contract Research Organisations, Clinical Research Associates, labs)Support audits and inspectionsPerform basic sample processing and temperature monitoringLead and mentor within the lab team, supporting training and developmentWhat You\'ll BringTertiary qualification in Biomedical or Biological SciencesCurrent IATA certification3-4 years\' lab experience (non-clinical trial), plus 1+ year in clinical trial settingsStrong knowledge of ICH-GCP standardsExcellent analytical, organisational, and communication skillsA proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvementWhy Join Us?
