The Pacific Area Materials Management Department (MMD) is seeking to appoint a part-time (18 hours per week) Store Clerk for the Auckland Distribution Retail Store.
This fixed-term position covers a maternity leave from October
The role involves working collaboratively with the Materials Management team and delivering exceptional customer service to Church members.
You will be the visible ambassador for the Church, engaging customers by telephone and face-to-face, providing product knowledge, assisting with orders, fitting services, and maintaining store cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in person and over the telephone using extensive product knowledge.
Input orders into computer software packages.
Provide fitting services to patrons.
Perform basic housekeeping duties to keep the store, stock, and storage areas clean and tidy.
Qualifications
Retail or customer service experience.
Business-level communication skills (English).
Basic math and computer skills.
Positive attitude with willingness to go the extra mile.
High-school or equivalent education.
Previous cashier experience is highly regarded but not essential.
