Part-Time Op Shop Volunteers - Hamilton

Overview

At St Aidan's Anglican Op Shop, we have a wonderful team of volunteers who support the operations of our Op Shop.

It is more than a shop - it is a community!

We are looking for more dedicated volunteers to join our team to keep the activities in our shop humming and to provide a beautiful space for our community to visit regularly.

Responsibilities

Help sort, clean and arrange donated items

Keep Op shop, hall or Church areas clean and free of clutter

Lend a hand and show manaakitanga hospitality in our weekly Cafe of Sorts – whakawhanaungatanga – community relationship building while kai together

Get stuck in at our Op Shop or church working bees

Requirements

Reliable, committed, trustworthy, honest, kind and a real team player

Friendly with excellent communication skills

Preferably someone with Christian values

A Police background check is required for this role

Time Commitment

At least 2-3 hours a week, flexible

Shop hours are : 10am to 3pm (Monday to Friday) and Saturday 10am to 12 : 30pm
