Mō te tūranga | About the Role

The Cyber Security Delivery Analyst role supports the delivery of Westpac’s Cyber Security strategy by working with a variety of stakeholders to elicit, analyse, validate, specify, and communicate requirements for changes to business processes, information, and systems.

In this role you will focus on planning, organising and assisting with the successful delivery of a variety of Cyber Security initiatives within the Cyber Security Programme (CSP). You will be engaging and communicating across various stakeholders, especially technology teams, to ensure requirements are elaborated, validated, and understood.

• Experience delivering key initiatives, strong organisational, planning, and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Awareness of Agile delivery methodology, working with product owners to develop user stories and manage backlogs.
• Familiarity with tools, including Atlassian and Microsoft suites, and other security tools.
• Role‑model the culture and mind‑sets.
• Team player with strong communication skills, especially explaining complex tech to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Support documentation when delivering stakeholder requirements.
• Ability to explain and break down complex technical insights clearly.
• Manage competing priorities and schedules, balancing autonomous and team work.
• Growth mindset : develop deep, broad (T‑shaped) skills to contribute to team delivery.
• Agile values : adaptable, collaborative, continuous improvement and delivery of business value.
• Experience creating documentation and artefacts (requirement documents, process maps, stakeholder packs, etc.).
