Overview
Connetics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Orion NZ Ltd (who is owned by the Christchurch City Holdings Limited (CCHL) Group), which owns and operates the electricity distribution network in central Canterbury.
With our head office based in Christchurch and another depot in Tawa, we're responsible for constructing and maintaining overhead and underground lines and equipment across these locations.
Providing such a critical service is no easy task and we know that to be the best, our people need to be connected, safe, and involved.

Whether you have 1–2 years\' experience and are eager to broaden your operational knowledge, or you bring more experience and are seeking a move into an organisation with the scale and structure to support your ongoing development, this role is designed to help you grow.
You\'ll deliver high-quality, good-practice HSE advisory services, spending more time on the ground, directly influencing operations, and making a meaningful impact.
You\'ll also have the chance to participate in a range of HSE initiatives, monitor critical risks, and facilitate training—building your capability and visibility across the business.

About You
You\'re an energetic self-starter who can work well within a fast-paced team, relate well to others, and who is known for their proactive and resilient nature.
You have great interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and can effectively manage conflicting demands while demonstrating a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
