Add expected salary to your profile for insightsAbout the RoleWe're looking for a proactive and organised Training Administrator to join the New Zealand Biosecurity Academy (NZBA) team in Auckland.

You'll be the friendly first point of contact for learners and clients, and a key part of delivering high-quality training services that support Aotearoa's biosecurity systems and workplace practices.Reporting to the Academy Manager, you will :

  • Manage course bookings and respond to client enquiries with professionalism and accuracy
  • Welcome and assist learners, visitors, and trainers onsite
  • Support trainers with session prep – from classroom setup to learning materials
  • Maintain learner records, process results, and issue certificates in line with MPI and NZQA requirements.
  • Facilitate ConstructSafe assessments and administer drug and alcohol screening.
  • Handle general administration including reception duties, data entry, and finance tasks such as invoicing and debtor management.
  • Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentationWhat we are looking for - essential skills and experience :
  • Previous experience in administration (preferably in education / training)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Experience with invoicing and debtor accountsBonus points if you have :
  • Experience within a PTE or regulatory environment (e.g. MPI, NZQA, ISO)
  • Knowledge of ConstructSafe and / or drug and alcohol testing processes
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform-based LMSWho You Are :
