What You'll Be Doing
This is an office-based role where you'll be the first point of contact for customers - both in person and over the phone.
You'll be responsible for :
Welcoming visitors and managing front desk interactions with professionalism and warmth.
Handling incoming phone calls - this includes answering queries, transferring calls, and providing support on Council services.
Responding to emails and guiding customers through online services.
Processing payments and managing banking tasks with accuracy.
Supporting internal teams and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
About You
We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm and customer-focused approach, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
You'll also bring
At least 3 years' experience in customer service, ideally in a call centre or front desk environment.
Confidence using computers, phones, databases and Microsoft Office.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Resilience and adaptability when dealing with diverse customer needs.
A collaborative and positive attitude that contributes to the wider team.
