Responsibilities

Urgent role as part of major digital transformation
Deep architectural expertise in Azure, Databricks and Delta Lake
Strong data modelling across conceptual, logical and physical layers
Define and align enterprise-wide data architecture across multiple business areas
Architect modern data solutions using Azure cloud-native services
Integrate new platforms with legacy systems to ensure continuity and scalability
Provide architectural governance, reference models, and artefacts to support delivery
Influence enterprise direction on data modelling, quality, and governance

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Data Architect across large-scale enterprise environments

Strong architectural knowledge of Databricks, Delta Lake, and Spark-based processing

Advanced capability in data modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical)

Skilled at working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align data strategy

Familiarity with emerging patterns (data mesh, data fabric)

Knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks like GDPR
