Solution Architect

Location : Ponsonby, Auckland

Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid

About the opportunity :

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Solution Architect to join our Architecture team. You will design secure, scalable, and high-quality technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture and business strategy.

This role will see you working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and the cybersecurity function to ensure all solutions are consistent, compliant, and deliver measurable business value. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s technology landscape, identifying opportunities for integration and efficiency, and providing architectural oversight across major programmes and initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to :

• Design secure, scalable, and compliant solutions aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures, design principles, and technology standards.
• Ensure architecture documentation is accurate, accessible, and kept up to date.
• Translate business requirements into practical, high-quality technology solutions.
• Partner with delivery teams to oversee solution implementation and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to embed security considerations into all solutions.
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks and opportunities for integration / consolidation.
• Present proposals and recommendations to executive leadership, ensuring alignment with strategy.
• Some travel to Australia may be required depending on the needs of programmes of work

Qualifications

About you :

You are a seasoned technology professional with strong solution architecture experience and a passion for designing solutions that balance scalability, security, and business value. Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, you can translate complex requirements into clear solutions and provide trusted architectural leadership across the organisation.
