We're looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist who can hit the ground running and keep things moving smoothly during a busy period. This role sits within a well-established organisation with a tight-knit HR and Finance team, and you'll be the go-to for accurate, timely end-to-end payroll.
About the role
Reporting to the CFO, you'll be responsible for supporting the end to end payroll function within the organisation and working closely with the finance team to resolve payroll queries from staff and managers. You'll also support reporting, audits, and any system updates to keep everything running smoothly.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have solid payroll experience, strong working knowledge of the Holidays Act, PAYE, and NZ employment legislation. You'll need to be comfortable managing deadlines, and known for your accuracy and attention to detail. You'll be someone who can step in quickly, and provide calm, reliable support to both staff and managers. Above all, you're dependable, steady under pressure, and able to add value from day one.
