You'll support the Global Tax & Finance Lead with accounting, month-end, budgeting, and continuous improvement, ensuring our General Ledger's integrity and making a real impact across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end close and variance analysis for group and subsidiariesPrepare management accounts and support annual budgetingDrive audit processes, prepare workpapers, and handle audit queriesEnsure compliance with finance procedures; provide financial insightsManage GST / FBT returns, treasury, and cashflow tasksMaintain task manuals; respond to shareholder and sponsorship queriesThe FitRoleWhether you're an early-career accountant building your expertise or looking to step up into a broader finance role, you'll thrive here if you're a team player with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you'll need : A degree in Accounting or FinanceMembership (or working towards) a Professional Accounting OrganisationExperience in financial accounting, month-end close, and audit processesAdvanced Excel and data analytics skills; SAP experience highly desirableStrong communication, analytical, and organisational skillsWhy Gallagher?
