We’re looking for a strategic and hands‑on Cybersecurity and IT Risk Lead to shape and drive our enterprise‑wide cybersecurity and risk management program. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the cyber risk strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and embedding secure‑by‑design principles across our technology landscape. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to establish a strong cyber governance framework aligned to global best practices—while ensuring local compliance with New Zealand’s regulatory environment, including the NZ Privacy Act 2020.

Other responsibilities include :

• Leading the development and execution of our cybersecurity strategy, targeting alignment with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 and maintain a multi‑year maturity improvement roadmap.
• Owning and operating the enterprise IT risk management program, integrating it with broader enterprise risk and internal audit functions.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and privacy obligations including ISO / IEC 27001 : 2022, the NZ Privacy Act 2020 and NZISM where applicable.
• Overseeing security operations and incident response, managing threat detection, response playbooks and incident resolution metrics (MTTD / MTTR).
• Driving secure architecture and cloud security standards across Azure, AWS and GCP, while owning Identity & Access Management practices.
