The School of Health & Counselling is seeking a skilled Literacy Lecturer to support our NZ Certificate in Study and Employment Pathways programme, which serves as a bridging pathway into Nursing and Health programmes. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in bridging or foundation programmes, and a strong understanding of literacy concepts contextualised to health sciences. Knowledge of health-related science would be an advantage, as the role involves working closely with subject specialists to prepare students for success in higher-level health qualifications.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated person who has the drive and passion for teaching excellence. A Tertiary Teaching Qualification at Level 5 or NCALE (vocational) will be beneficial in this exciting opportunity.
