The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

We are seeking applications for suitably qualified lecturers / senior lecturers to support our Primary Education courses offered at our Akoranga, City or Manukau campuses. Applicants will have relevant recent professional teaching experience and demonstrate commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

This teaching-focused role will primarily support students on school practicum, providing mentoring, supervision and assessment in collaboration with schools and colleagues.

Applicants will be engaged in educational scholarship that informs practice and seeks to make beneficial impacts to our education communities.

• A statement outlining your professional experience and curriculum / subject expertise and experience with supporting developing teachers.
• Confirmation of your current teacher registration with the New Zealand Teaching Council as the successful applicants will be expected to visit and assess student teachers on practicum.

This is a permanent teaching focused role. Applicants will hold at least a master's degree and preferably a doctoral degree.
