Ability to speak Chinese and Cantonese is preferred;
Previous working experience in Chinese restaurants is preferred;
- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Checking ingredients to make sure the quality and freshness
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in various utensils and grillers
- Seasoning, portioning, adding sauces to the dish during / after cooking
- Preparing food to meet client’s taste and dietary needs
- Storing and reserving food to the right temperature and facilities
- Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized
and prepared for the next shift.
Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before eachrun, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Assisting in planning menus, estimating food and labour costsAssisting with training and supervising kitchen staff whenever required
