As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role as a key senior leader in the business and combine strong technical capability with practical commercial judgement.
Working closely with the General Manager, you will fully own Chandler's financial systems, reporting, compliance, and processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and operational discipline as the business scales and opens new doors.
You will lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, cashflow and working-capital planning, and product costing, while maintaining robust financial controls and high-quality reporting.
Your insights will support strategic decision-making across the business, ensure risk is mitigated, enabling performance, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
This role requires a hands-on leader who loves to take on a problem to solve, optimise systems to promote efficiencies, partner with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve financial processes and visibility.
Your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to).
Key Responsibilities
Lead all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely month- / year-end reporting.
Develop budgets, forecasts, and cashflow models, providing clear insight to support decisions and performance.
Maintain product costing and pricing integrity, monitoring margins and supporting commercial accuracy.
Manage banking, insurance, and credit controls, including FX strategy and funding arrangements.
Oversee AP / AR, payroll, and audit processes, supported by finance staff (who you manage) and external advisors / accountants.
Own and improve MYOB Advanced, IT and finance systems, driving efficiency, data accuracy, and process improvement.
Be a senior leader within the business, developing the finance team and driving accountability and continuous improvement.
Partner with the GM and leadership team to support strategy, growth, and disciplined execution.

About You
You're an experienced financial professional with a commercial mindset, a collaborative approach, and a passion for operational excellence.
You thrive in a small-team environment where you can take ownership, lead improvement, and make a tangible impact.
You'll bring :
5+ years in a senior finance role (import, manufacturing, or distribution preferred)
Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting, budgeting, and cash flow.
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
CA qualification (or equivalent) preferred
High attention to detail, commercial acumen, and a pragmatic, hands-on approach
