The Opportunity
We are looking for a Consents Support Coordinator to join our Consents team on a full-time (37.5 hours per week) 12-month fixed term basis in our busy Dunedin office.
The purpose of this position is to provide a range of timely and accurate administrative support services for the processing of resource consent applications, while supporting the Environmental delivery process within the Otago Regional Council.
As a Consents Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for :
Responding to internal and external enquiries providing information about consents
Maintaining and updating databases for entering and processing resource consents
Working with Consent Officers and providing administrative support including notified applications, hearing planning, customer updates, and monitoring timeframes
Processing minor consents and variations according to statutory processes and timeframes

About You
Our ideal candidate will have :
A Tertiary Degree or at least 2 years' experience in providing high level business support in a complex environment
Strong organisational skills and processes
Ability to work in a complex work environment, deal with ambiguity and across functions
A great knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 and associated programmes, with the ability to learn how to use new systems
