Our casual roles cover leave for permanent Support Workers, providing opportunities to gain experience across various services including community mobile, respite, residential, and recovery.

This varied role involves working on different tasks :
Respite Service :
Support wellbeing by providing a listening ear, supporting activities such as mindfulness, medication management, maintaining a large home, cooking, cleaning, and hosting visiting clinical teams.
Residential Services :
Work alongside whai ora to achieve goals, including moving towards independence with appointments, shopping, cleaning, and medication.
Mobile Community Service :
Provide home-based support, assisting with household tasks, appointments, grocery shopping, medication, physical activity, and community engagement.
Enhanced Mobile Community :
Support whai ora at home with packages of support including daily living activities, medication management, meal planning, grocery shopping, gardening, cleaning, and exercise.
The hours are irregular and depend on availability.
We operate 24 / 7.
Minimum Requirements
Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
For respite services, hold or be studying towards a Level 4 NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or recognized equivalent
