Information Technology Support Engineer

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our Christchurch team and deliver frontline IT support across Goodman Fielder. Based at our growing Meadow Fresh site , you'll play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly while supporting South Island and wider NZ operations.

In this role, you'll report into the NZ based IT Support Team Lead and partner with colleagues across New Zealand and Australia as part of our wider Wilmar Group IT team. From managing hardware and troubleshooting issues, to supporting collaboration tools and site projects, you'll be the go-to person on site—building trusted relationships and ensuring our people can do their best work every day.

What You\'ll Do

• Provide frontline technical support for end-user systems (Windows, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint)
• Install, maintain, and refresh desktop and laptop devices
• Manage service desk requests, walk-ups, and remote troubleshooting
• Support IT needs for projects, site visits, and office relocations
• Ensure meeting rooms and collaboration tech are functioning seamlessly
• Build strong relationships across our local and global IT teams
• Be based on-site full time at our Meadow Fresh Christchurch site

What You\'ll Bring

• Minimum 3 years\' experience in IT support or service desk roles
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks
• Knowledge of Microsoft environment, Office 365, Workspace One, and AV tools
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for problem-solving
• Experience in a corporate environment is advantageous
