Salary will be $88,528 to $114,000 + KiwiSaver contribution.
Responsibilities
Join our team of Regulatory Engineers who play a crucial role in ensuring Auckland's growth is supported by high-quality infrastructure.
Provide essential expertise to the Building and Resource Consenting teams, ensuring new infrastructure is designed and constructed to meet high standards.
Collaborate with asset owners such as Auckland Transport, Watercare, Healthy Waters, and Parks to support safe and sustainable growth across the region.
Assess development proposals, building consents, infrastructure works, and engineering approvals across a range of projects—from private residential and commercial developments to large-scale subdivision work.
Apply your engineering knowledge in a fast-paced environment with significant impact (annual scope includes over $130 million in new public assets through the engineering approval process).
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners, contributing to a collaborative, supportive environment.
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in civil engineering.
Experience in land development market / civil engineering.
Understanding and knowledge of Resource Management, Building and Local Government legislation and other issues affecting regulatory engineering services.
Desire to collaborate with Maori and within Maori paradigms.
Advanced interpersonal and relationship skills.
