Our organisation works to a model of care centred around our pou (guiding principles) of whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, arohatanga, rangatiratanga, tika and pono.

We deliver health and social services across the lifespan and have a team of over 100 people working across Hamilton city and beyond.About the roleWe are seeking a mature, reliable, and compassionate Receptionist to be the warm and welcoming face of our organisation.

This permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday) is focused on front-of-house reception duties, including greeting and assisting whanau and visitors with genuine care and professionalism.

As the first point of contact, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive and respectful first impression, upholding the values of manaakitanga and whanaungatanga in every interaction.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a tidy, welcoming reception area in line with tikangaGreet clients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and respectAnswering and directing incoming calls and messages promptly and professionallyHandling mail, couriers, and office suppliesSupport general administrative duties across the Human Resources team as neededBe familiar and provide information on programmes and services provided by Te Rb nanga o Kirikiriroa and be able to direct enquiries to the correct peopleKey Skills / QualificationsFriendly, approachable, and confident communicating with people from all walks of lifeDiscreet, professional, and able to manage sensitive information with integrityA proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to juggle multiple tasksPunctual, reliable and flexibleStrong interpersonal skills both in person and on the phoneProficient in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systemsWork in a kaupapa M01ori organisation rooted in community service and cultural integrityContribute to meaningful mahi that uplifts whanau and supports kaimahi wellbeingOngoing development and learning opportunitiesAccess to medical insuranceMonthly supervision to support your professional journeyReady to Join Us?
