Careers Advisor - 0.8 FTTE Part time Permanent

Overview

Rangitoto College is seeking a dedicated, innovative Careers Advisor to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a part-time permanent position (0.8 FTE) starting Term 1, 2026. The role is 4 days per week, with scope to consider extending to 5 days with additional duties by negotiation to suit the needs of the school (e.g., relief teaching, subject teacher).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact, proactive one-to-one guidance for students, particularly Year 12.
• Engage in student intervention and parental engagement.
• Provide guidance aligned with Career Development, the NZ qualifications framework, and tertiary / alternative pathways.
