The Partnerships and Harm Prevention team aims to ensure there is a joined-up approach to harm prevention and reduction across Police and the wider government sector.

Resilience to Organised Crime in Communities (ROCC) is a multi-agency work programme supporting locally-led responses to organised crime. ROCC combines a community resilience prevention approach with targeted enforcement to simultaneously address the harms and drivers of organised crime.

As the Senior Advisor – ROCC Strategy, you'll work at a national level to ensure that ROCC partners are working together to enable community-led solutions to the harms and drivers of organised crime.

You'll enjoy the variety involved in supporting the different ROCC locations and partners, and in building relationships with key partner agencies - no two weeks will be the same.

Our team is responsible for national level coordination and strategic advice, supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the ROCC work programme across the motu.

Key Accountabilities :

Provide high-quality advice, reporting and strategic insights to decision makers, including Ministers.

Provide national governance support for the work programme

Contribute to the strategic direction of the work programme

Build and maintain trusted relationships with partner agencies

Coordinate multi-agency projects

Strong knowledge of machinery of government including budget processes.

A strong ability to establish, build and maintain relationships with partner agencies, across the government sector, and within the wider community.

national security clearance.

The minimum criteria for this level of national security clearance is :

NZ Citizen who has resided continuously in NZ for the last

10

years, or :

A Permanent Resident who has resided continuously in NZ for the last

10

years, or

A citizen of or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries

for the last 10

years

: Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, or United States of America, and has a background that can be verified by the NZSIS.

Utu a-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $110,425 and $117,014 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
