About the Role
We currently have a position available for a Registered Nurse to join our Medical Day Stay Unit (MDSU) at Tauranga Hospital.
We are offering up to 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) position that runs Monday to Friday between 7 : 00am – 6 : 00pm, providing care for patients undergoing day infusions, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, radiological procedures, and other short-stay treatments.

This role is well suited to nurses with broad clinical experience, particularly in ambulatory or procedural care, who thrives in a focused and well-paced environment.
Pre and post care is a key part of this role, and your ability to work autonomously while contributing to a cohesive team will be essential.
The unit also provides 24 / 7 on-call endoscopy services.
Once trained, nurses will participate in the roster and must live within 20 minutes of the hospital, hold a valid NZ driver's license, and have access to a registered vehicle.
