Able Minds is seeking passionate and community-minded Practitioners to support our EduConnect attendance service, a trauma-informed, identity-affirming initiative that re-engages akonga aged 5–16 who are chronically absent or non-enrolled in school.
You'll be out in the community, working alongside whanau, schools, and social services to remove barriers, co-design Attendance Improvement Plans (AIPs), and help young people reconnect with education and thrive in their learning environments.
This mobile, relationship-based role is ideal for someone who succeeds in diverse settings, values whanau-centred practice, and brings a strong understanding of youth development, education, and cultural frameworks like Te Whare Tapa Wha.
