District Nurse – 0.6FTE (minimum) fixed term for 15 months

Are you ready to extend your nursing skills beyond the clinic and into the community? We have a rare opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our District Nurse team on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave. This role is ideal for someone eager to make a meaningful impact while enjoying variety, autonomy, and a supportive team environment.

The position involves working Monday to Friday with shared rostered weekend days, and occasional additional hours to cover leave. You should be a Registered Nurse with excellent assessment and critical thinking skills. Wound care experience is preferred. Chemotherapy or infusion credentials are a bonus but not essential.

You will work independently in the community, delivering care where it’s needed most. No two days are the same, making this role both challenging and rewarding.

Requirements include :

• Full NZ Driver’s License
• A passion for community care and a proactive attitude
